  • How do I figure out my iPhone model?

    On the back of every iPhone there is a section that says “Model” followed by the letter “A” with 4 consecutive numbers.

  • How do I figure out my storage size?

    On your device, tap Settings > General > About > Capacity

    Please note capcity shown will not be exact. Please round up to the nearest offered capacity.(8GB, 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, 256GB)

    For example: A capacity of 55.4GB means it is a 64GB device. A capcity of 7.1GB means its 8GB, ETC

  • How do I remove the iCloud account from my device?

  • Do I need to remove my SIM Card?

    You do not need to remove your SIM card as it will be removed during the testing process. However, if you would like to remove your SIM card (located in the tray on the right side of your device), insert either a SIM card remover tool or paper clip. Insert into the hole located on the side of the device and push. The tray will pop out and you can take the SIM card out.

  • Do I need to clear the data on my iPhone?

    Our technicians are trained to erase all data as soon as your device is received.

    However, we recommend customers erase all data on the device before sending it in. To erase all data, do the following:

    Go to Setting > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings.


  • Do I pay for shipping?

    No, all shipping is 100 percent free!.

  • What are my shipping options?

    When you place your order, you have the option to have us send you a mailer, or to have a shipping label sent to you via email and use your own packaging materials.

  • How can I see the status of my order?

    Simply login to your account(Account information will be in your email). Once you login just click on the orders link.

  • Where is my prepaid shipping kit?

    We’re glad to hear that you’re excited to sell your device! You can expect to receive your free, prepaid shipping kit within 5-7 business days of placing your order. If we emailed you a prepaid, printable shipping label, simply print and affix it to your own secure packaging.

  • How do I find the model of my phone?

    Android Phones

    1. Click the Menu button and select System Settings
    2. Scroll down through the list toward the bottom
    3. Tap About Phone
    4. Locate your model name and number in the list

    Devices with removable batteries also include the model number under the battery. Remove the battery to reveal the model number.

    Older Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, and ZTE

    1. Remove the back cover
    2. Remove the battery
    3. Your model number will be printed on the inside of the phone, usually on a white label

    Nokia Lumia

    1. Go to Settings
    2. Tap About
    3. Your model name and number will be displayed in the Phone Information Section

  • How do I disable Samsung Re-activation Lock from my device?

    Samsung's Reactivation Lock is a security feature installed on most recent Samsung devices by default. This feature prevents anyone from data wiping and resetting your phone, stopping anyone else from using your phone.

    If you're selling your phone through Swopsmart, it is important that you disable Reactivation Lock before sending us your device. If the Reactivation Lock is enabled on the phone we cannot wipe your data and reset it, which prevents re-use and re-selling of your item.

    The location of this option on your phone can vary based on the model of your device and the installed Android version. Here are steps on how to disable Reactivation Lock on some common Samsung models:

    Galaxy S5, Note 4

    To remove Samsung's Reactivation Lock, please follow these steps:

    1. From the Home screen, Tap Apps
    2. Find the Settings App and Tap it
    3. Tap the Security option. If you don't see the option, you may need to select the System tab first.
    4. Scroll down to Reactivation Lock, if it is selected, tap the checkbox to un-select it. If you do not see the Reactivation Lock option, it means your device is not linked to a Samsung Account, you do not need to take any further action.
    5. You will be prompted to enter your Samsung Account password, to make sure you are the rightful owner of the device.
    6. Enter your password, and wait for the request to be processed
    7. You will now see the Reactivation Lock is disabled

    Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

    1.From the Home screen, tap Apps 2. Open the Settings App and then tap the Personal Tab 3. Now go to Lock screen and security 4. You should now see Find my Mobile, open it. You will be asked to enter your Samsung account credentials 5. Within the Find my Mobile option, you should see Reactivation Lock is on 6. Tap the slider to make sure Reactivation Lock is turned off
