Apple Watch Series 1

 

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset, will delete all information on a device and restore the software back to it’s original manufacturer settings. A hard reset should only be done if absolutely necessary as it removes all data from your device. Perform a hard reset if your Apple Watch Series 1 is experiencing any of the following issues:

  • Forgot your password
  • Constant freezing
  • Crashing applications
  • Touchscreen Issues
  • Can’t hear
  • Can’t make or receive calls
  • Sync issues
  • Sound issues

 

First Method

 

Step 1

Ensure your Apple Watch Series 1 is turned on by pressing the side button

Step 2

Hold down the side button until the Watch options appear.

Step 3

 

On the screen, press and hold the Power off tab until the Factory Reset window appears.

Step 4

 

Select “Erase all content and settings” to reset device.

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.
