Blackberry Aurora

 

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset, will delete all information on a device and restore the software back to it’s original manufacturer settings. A hard reset should only be done if absolutely necessary as it removes all data from your device. Perform a hard reset if your Blackberry Aurora is experiencing any of the following issues:

  • Forgot your password
  • Constant freezing
  • Crashing applications
  • Touchscreen Issues
  • Can’t hear
  • Can’t make or receive calls
  • Sync issues
  • Sound issues

 

Step 1

 

Ensure that your Blackberry Aurora  is turned off by pressing the power button.

Step 2

 

Press and hold the Volume Down button + Power button

Step 3

 

When you see the Blackberry logo, release the buttons and press the Power button again.

Step 4

 

 

From the Android Recovery Mode menu select “wipe data and cache“.

Use the Volume buttons to navigate and the Power button to confirm.

 

 

Step 5

 

Select the “reboot system now” to reboot your device..

 

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.

 

Second Method
Step 1

Power on your device by pressing the power button

Step 2

From the Home Screen go to Apps Menu and then to Settings.

Step 3

Click on Backup & reset and then Factory Data Reset.

Step 4

Find and select Reset Phone.

Step 5

Click on Erase everything to confirm.

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.
