ZTE Blade C2

 

A hard reset, also known as a factory reset, will delete all information on a device and restore the software back to it’s original manufacturer settings. A hard reset should only be done if absolutely necessary as it removes all data from your device. Perform a hard reset if your ZTE Blade C2 is experiencing any of the following issues:

  • Forgot your password
  • Constant freezing
  • Crashing applications
  • Touchscreen Issues
  • Can’t hear
  • Can’t make or receive calls
  • Sync issues
  • Sound issues

 

First Method

 

Step 1

Ensure that your ZTE Blade C2 is turned off by pressing the power button.

Step 2

 

Press and hold the Volume Up Button + Power button, until you see ZTE logo. Once the ZTE logo appears, release all buttons and wait for the Android Recovery screen to appear.

Step 3

 

When the Boot Mode appears, select Recovery. Use the Volume Up button to navigate and the Volume Down button to confirm.

Step 4

When the Android Robot appears, press and hold the Power button. While holding the power button press and release the Volume Up button to open the Recovery Menu

Step 5

 

From the Android Recovery Mode menu select “wipe data / factory reset“.

Use the Volume buttons to navigate and the Power button to confirm.

Next, scroll down to “yes” and press the power button to confirm the factory reset.

Select the “reboot system now” to reboot your device..

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.

 

Second Method
Step 1

Power on your device by pressing the power button

Step 2

From the Home Screen go to Settings and then Advance Settings.

Step 3

Click on Backup & reset.

Step 4

Find and select Reset Device.

Step 5

Click on Erase everything to confirm.

Congratulations! The device has been restored to factory defaults.
